Base for double push-button N.O. or N.C., 10 A/250 Vac, screw terminals. The push-button contains block-shaped silver contacts (cadmium-free) arranged in a cross shape. The contact sockets are equipped with cage terminals with tamper-proof screws. These screws have a combined screw head (Pz1 or 1 x 5 mm slot). Each screw also has a screwdriver guide that prevents the screwdriver from slipping off the screw head. All connection terminals can accommodate 2 x 2.5 mm² wire. The stripping length (8 mm) of the wires and the wiring diagram are permanently marked on the back of the base. The terminal designation and the switching symbol are permanently marked on the front. The base is provided with two rectangular recesses at the bottom for the integration of two lighting units. A lighting unit with wires can be clicked into the left and right recess.

When mounting in a flush-mount box, screws are used. The mounting frame has a metal thickness of 1 mm and is galvanized on all sides after cutting, including the cut edges. On the horizontal and vertical axis, the mounting frame has 4 pilot slots for mounting in flush-mount boxes with screws. These pilot slots have a screw hole of 7 mm. For mounting on panels, the mounting frame is provided with 4 screw holes (indicated with a screw symbol) with a diameter of 3 mm. The center of the mounting frame is marked, both horizontally and vertically (chalk line, laser, etc.), so that the installation of one or more mechanisms can be smooth and easy. On all sides, the base has raised dovetails, allowing both horizontal and vertical coupling (center distance 71 x 71 mm) of multiple bases quickly and perfectly. The raised edges on the outside of the base as well as the extension inwards provide extra robustness. The 4 rectangular openings (7 x 2.5 mm) in the mounting frame can accommodate a gap of 1 to 1.2 mm if the flush-mount box protrudes from the plasterwork. With such a gap, the cover plate can still fit perfectly against the wall.
