Base for wall socket without grounding, installation depth 21 mm, 16 A/250 Vac, screw terminals. The wall socket contains contact sleeves with a large contact surface that do not rest on the base to be clamped. The contact sleeves are equipped with cage terminals with tamper-proof screws. These screws have a combination screw head (Pz2 or slot 1 x 6 mm). Each screw also has a screwdriver guide that prevents the screwdriver from slipping off the screw head. All connection terminals are located on the top of the base and can accommodate up to 4 x 2.5 mm² wire. The stripping length (14 mm) of the wires is permanently marked on the back of the base. When attaching to an installation box, screws are used. The installation frame has a metal thickness of 1 mm and is galvanized on all sides after cutting, including the cut edges. On the horizontal and vertical axis, the installation frame has 4 pilot slots for mounting in installation boxes with screws. These pilot slots have a screw hole of 7 mm. For mounting on panels, the installation frame is provided with 4 screw holes (indicated with a screw symbol) with a diameter of 3 mm. The center of the installation frame is marked, both horizontally and vertically (chalk line, laser …), so that the installation of one or more mechanisms can be smooth and easy. On the right and left side, the base has raised dovetails, allowing multiple bases to be coupled horizontally quickly and perfectly. The raised edges on the outside of the base and the extension inwards provide extra robustness. You can couple the bases vertically with a center distance of 60 x 71 mm by sliding them into each other. They lock automatically. For horizontally coupling bases with a center distance of 71 mm, the base is provided with two pre-formed lips at the bottom. By bending these lips down by 1 mm, it rests perfectly on the bottom one and the center distance of 71 mm is guaranteed. The 4 rectangular openings (7 x 2.5 mm) in the installation frame can accommodate a gap of 1 to 1.2 mm if the installation box protrudes from the plasterwork. With such a gap, the cover plate can still fit perfectly against the wall.
