Description
Silicate-based sealant, black, for high-temperature use. Used to insulate and fill cracks in areas exposed to extremely high temperatures. Can be applied comfortably and evenly.
When heated, the mass turns dark grey, becomes extremely hard, and can withstand extreme temperatures (up to +1500°C for a short time). Suitable for working with natural stone. Application temperature from +5°C to +40°C. The film forms in 5 minutes.
Instructions for use – surfaces must be clean, free of grease residue, and dry. Cut off the end of the cartridge and screw on the included nozzle. Place the cartridge in the caulking gun and fill the nozzle with sealant by pressing the gun trigger several times.
After application, smooth the surface with a rubber or silicone putty knife and remove any material residue. In some cases, it is more convenient to use a plasterer’s spatula.
After final curing, slowly heat the sealant to +250°C. When heated, the mass turns dark grey and becomes exceptionally hard. Temperature resistance of the seam up to +1500°C.
