Description

High-quality, high-coverage, matte wall paint based on synthetic resin dispersion. Usually provides coverage in a single topcoat, saving an application step. Easy and splash-free to apply. Very white, breathable, and washable. Intended for a durable finish for ceilings and interior and exterior walls.

Substrate

Can be used on plaster, plasterboard, masonry, brick, concrete, cement, decorative plaster, old paint layers, glass fabric, fleece wallpaper …

Preparation

Apply to a dry, clean, cohesive, dust-free, and grease-free surface.
Brush off or wash well-adhering old layers and allow to dry.
Remove non-adhering parts. Repair cracks and holes.
Moisture problems: address the root cause. Let the ceiling dry thoroughly. Do not paint if the moisture problem has not been permanently resolved.

New substrate: Apply 1 coat of primer.

Powdery or chalking substrate: Apply 1 coat of Hydrofix (instead of primer).

Adhering old paint layers in good condition:

• Water-dilutable paints: wash/degrease with diluted ammonia (9 parts water and 1 part ammonia), 1 coat of primer
• Lacquers: wash with diluted ammonia (9 parts water and 1 part ammonia), sand down to ensure good adhesion, 1 coat of alkyd primer

Finish

Apply 1 coat (or 2 coats) of Formule 12 Wall Paint.
After drying, sand very lightly between coats and remove dust.

Usage

Do not use below 6° C.
Stir well before use. Ready to use.

Apply with a brush or roller:
If 1 topcoat is intended: use undiluted, or
1^st coat: optionally dilute with a maximum of 5% water.
2^nd coat: undiluted.

Drying time

Dust-dry: after 1 hour.
Recoatable: after 6 hours

Cleaning tools

Clean tools with warm water and soap immediately after use.

Coverage (indicative)

8-12 m²/l per coat depending on the substrate.
