Base for wall socket with grounding pin and child safety, installation depth 28.5 mm, 16 A/250 Vac, screw terminals. The wall socket contains contact sockets with a large contact surface that do not rest on the base for clamping. The contact sockets are equipped with cage terminals with non-removable screws. These screws have a combination screw head (Pz2 or slot 1 x 6 mm). Each screw also has a screwdriver guide that prevents the screwdriver from slipping off the screw head. All connection terminals are located on the top of the base and can accommodate up to 4 x 2.5 mm² wire. The grounding terminal itself up to 2 x 2.5 mm² + 2 x 4 mm². The stripping length (14 mm) of the wires is indelibly marked on the back of the base. When attaching to an installation box with gripping surfaces, claws are used that are tightened by means of screws with a combination screw head (Pz2 or slot 1 x 5.5 mm). The claws, which have an engagement depth of 23.5 mm, retract completely when unscrewed. The installation frame has a metal thickness of 1 mm and is zinc-plated on all sides after cutting, including the cut edges. On the horizontal and vertical axis, the installation frame has 4 entry slots for mounting in installation boxes with screws. These entry slots have a screw hole of 7 mm. For mounting on panels, the installation frame is provided with 4 screw holes (indicated with a screw symbol) with a diameter of 3 mm. The center of the installation frame is marked, both horizontally and vertically (chalk line, laser …) so that the installation of one or more mechanisms can proceed smoothly and easily. On the right and left side, the base has raised dovetails, allowing multiple bases to be coupled horizontally quickly and perfectly. The raised edges on the outside of the base as well as the continuation inwards provide extra robustness. You can couple the bases vertically with a center distance of 60 x 71 mm by sliding them into each other. They lock automatically. For horizontally coupling bases with a center distance of 71 mm, the base is provided with two pre-formed lips at the bottom. By folding these lips down by 1 mm, it rests perfectly on the bottom and the center distance of 71 mm is guaranteed. The 4 rectangular openings (7 x 2.5 mm) in the installation frame can accommodate a clearance of 1 to 1.2 mm if the installation box protrudes from the plasterwork. With such a clearance, the cover plate can still fit perfectly against the wall.
