Description
Two-way switches are used to control one lamp from two different locations. A finishing set and a faceplate in a colour of your choice must be ordered separately.
Only screws can be used for mounting in a flush-mounting box. The mounting frame has a metal thickness of 1 mm and is galvanised on all sides after cutting, including the cut edges.
Base for a two-way switch or two-way push-button switch, 10 AX/250 Vac, screwless terminals. The switch contains block-shaped silver contacts (cadmium-free) arranged in a cross. The contact bushings are equipped with screwless terminals for clamping the wires. All connection terminals are located at the top of the base and can hold up to 2 x 2.5 mm² of wire. The stripping length (8 mm) of the wires and the connection diagram are indelibly marked on the back of the base. The terminal marking and the switching symbol are indelibly marked on the front. The base is provided with two rectangular recesses at the bottom for the integration of a lighting element. A lighting element with wires or an automatic lighting element can be clicked into the left recess (front view). At the back, the base is provided with round cut-outs that ensure the automatic lighting element makes direct contact with the mechanism when clicked into place, ensuring it is immediately connected correctly.
